When my first baby switched to eating solids, I discovered a simple yet transformative hack for diaper changes. As a former hairstylist, I had a spray bottle filled with water at my hair-cutting station, which had been converted into a diaper-changing station during my pregnancy. One day, after struggling to clean my baby’s extra sticky poop with wipes—leaving his delicate skin red and raw—I reached for that spray bottle in desperation. To my amazement, the water instantly loosened the mess, making it far easier to clean. I assumed all moms knew this trick, but I quickly realized how inconvenient it was to keep track of the spray bottle, and eventually, I stopped using it.

Fast forward two years, and I had my baby girl. At just five weeks old, she developed a severe UTI that landed her in the hospital for five days. The doctors recommended bathing her after every poop, which was impractical. Remembering the spray bottle hack, I knew water could more effectively clean those sensitive areas where wipes simply weren't enough. However, the hassle of managing a separate spray bottle remained a problem.

At the time, I was dealing with severe postpartum depression, and we had recently moved from Charleston to Utah to be closer to family. A year later, my son, then three years old, was diagnosed with Autism. Thankfully, we found an incredible program that has been instrumental in his development. One day, after picking him up from school, I went to change his diaper and noticed remnants of poop still stuck to his bum. It was then that I had an epiphany: I needed to create a spray bottle that was as convenient as baby wipes—something every mom could easily have on hand to better clean their babies.

And so, the Bonobo Baby Bidet was born. This simple product allows parents to attach a small spray bottle filled with water directly to their baby wipes, making it effortless to achieve a more thorough and gentler clean. Water not only reaches those tricky areas but also breaks up sticky messes, reducing the need for harsh wiping and helping to prevent diaper rash. The Bonobo Baby Bidet has been a game-changer for parents of babies with sensitive skin, offering a more effective, gentler, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional diaper wipes.
With the Bonobo Baby Bidet, I hope to provide parents with a better way to care for their babies' delicate skin, making their lives just a little bit easier.

THE BONOBO BABY STORY: FROM MESS TO SUCCESS

1: Simple
I don't want to add to the chaos of parenting, so I made sure that the Bonobo will fit effortlessly into your diaper-changing routine.

2: On the Go
Babies are notorious for pooping during daily outings, so I wanted to make sure the Bonobo easily fits in your diaper bag and can be spotted quickly.

3: Attaches to Baby Wipes
As moms, we're typically going to remember to pack our diapers and our wipes, but all that other fluff can get forgotten. Having a spray bottle that directly attaches to your wipes means you don't have to add anything else to the list of things to not forget.

4: The Rubber Band Hack
A video went viral of a mom tying a rubber band around her wipes, making it so that just one wipe comes out at a time (opposed to the ribbon dance of wipes that typically comes out). I thought, "This is genius, and I need to somehow apply it to the Bonobo!" That is why the Bonobo pouch comes with an elastic cord that you can adjust as your wipes dispenser decreases in size.
